The last words by Fernando Pessoa (1888-1935) were written in English: “I know not what tomorrow will bring”. This was the departing point for “Echoes — Fernando Pessoa, English Poetry & Prose”, the new album by the Portuguese singer Sofia Vitória and the first record ever fully devoted to the English poetry and prose of Fernando Pessoa. The English words of Pessoa come to life by the hands of the composers Amélia Muge, António Zambujo, Daniel Bernardes, Edu Mundo, Joana Espadinha, João Hasselberg, João Paulo Esteves da Silva, José Mário Branco, José Peixoto, Luís Figueiredo, Mário Laginha, Paula Sousa and Sofia Vitória. The album is a co-production with Casa Fernando Pessoa.
